Abstract

The purpose of the research is to determine the relation between learning strategies and timemanagement skills used by teacher candidates. For this purpose, 243 teacher candidates participated in the research which has been designed according to the relational screening model. In this research, in order to obtain data, “Learning Strategies Scale” and “Time Management Scale” have been used. In the analysis of the data, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Tukey test and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient have been utilized. As a result of the analyses conducted, it has been determined that there are significant differences between learning strategy utilization of teacher candidates and time-management skills with respect to their departments. Furthermore, different relation levels have been observed among the scores of subdimensions of Learning Strategies Scale and sub-dimensions of Time Management Inventory of teacher candidates.
