Abstract
We consider the far-field radiation pattern produced by a vibrating circular piston set in a plane non-rigid impedance condition baffle. Using an extension of an approximate method suggested by Mangulis, a simple formula is derived for the radiation pattern function, and its accuracy is assessed by a comparison with some numerical results of Mangulis.
