Abstract

As markets become increasingly consumer oriented, the brand (which is the interface between companies and their consumers) needs to act as a worthy ambassador establishing relations overseas. This demands coherence between global marketing strategy and corporate strategy, and managers responsible for developing global brands need the skills to synchronise the objectives of brand and company.
