Abstract

This article highlights the issue of the classification of electoral ballots in the context of the main types of electoral ballots such as the majority system, the proportional representation system and the mixed system. It tries to emphasize the main features that local elections possess in relation to the main types of voting, but also to nuance the diversity of particularities that they possess, in a contribution to clarifying the place of local elections in the electoral system.
