Abstract

A One Power, erecting, distortion-corrected telescope is defined as a CONSTANT DEVIATION Device. When an optical instrument is called constant deviation it means that the apparent direction of any object seen through the device is constant independent of any angular rotation of the observing system relative to the object and relative to the observer.
