Abstract

The article analyses the social, political, demographic, economic and technological changes that advanced societies have experienced and that have entailed the replacement of the modern military paradigm by a new post-industrial military model which reflects the current society. These changes constitute a Military Revolution that has transformed the state, society and the concept of war itself.
