Abstract

PHILIPS ELECTRONICS WANTED to translate its understanding of innovation from a collection of objects, anecdotes, and ideas into a place that could serve as a gateway to the company's philosophy, expertise, and accomplishments. Bruce and Susan Burdick's design combines architecture, exhibits, interactive media, conference spaces, and meeting rooms that, for customers, employees, and visitors, transform a review of history and abstract concepts into a living, 3‐D expression of Philips's competencies and strategies.
