Abstract
Abstract Creating a safe organizational culture places high demands on the management and organizational structure but also gives possibilities to develop a culture that builds on a clear foundation of values. By combining qualitative studies in a review, findings become more significant because they draw on broader range of participants and descriptions. This study found four different themes describing organizational culture: (a) organizational culture reflecting an inner commitment to care, (b) organizational culture reflecting distress and insecurity, (c) organizational culture reflecting value conflicts, and (d) the impact of organization of care and leadership on the organizational culture.
