Abstract

Peter Waterman argues that while ‘new social movements’ are now old hat, the global justice and solidarity movement is new as is ‘global solidarity’. He asks that we go beyond thinking in binaries and instead develop a logic that can handle the increasingly complex reality in which emancipatory movements operate.
