Abstract
The nuclear susceptibility of 3He in liquid 4He has been measured between 0.35°K and 1.3°K for concentrations up to 15%. The results are very close to the ideal Fermi-Dirac values calculated with m ∗ = 2.5m 3 , the effective 3He 3He interaction being too small to detect for concentrations below 10%.
