Abstract
The study analyses the nitrogen monoxide generation and reducing during the co-combustion of biomass (corn-cob) in a power plant fired with pulverised coal. The physical and mathematical model shows the nitrogen monoxide generation and the reducing of its concentration by the air staging and by the combination of the primary methods. Keywords: biomass, combustion installations, co-combustion, pollution
