Abstract

Objective To investigate the high frequency electrocoagulation resection and hot biopsy forceps removal of large intestine polyps in childrens using adult electronic colonoscopy. Methods The treatment of large intestine polyps in childrens with adult electronic colonoscopy in 92 cases and 112 polyps with the high frequency electrocoagulation,resection of a diameter of 5 mm with heat biopsy forceps,all patients were cured without serious complications. Results The colorectal polyps in children as single, most frequently occurred at less than 10 years old, and most cases had hematochezia, and located in the rectum and sigmoid colon mainly,pathological type were inflammatory polyps and juvenile polyp. Conclusions High frequency electrocoagulation resection and hot biopsy forceps removal under adult electronic endoscopy in treating children's colorectal polyps is simple,safe, reliable,economic,and less painful.
