Abstract

Abstract Method of measurements of the jumps of volume during phase transitions at high pressures and temperatures is suggested. Theoretical ground of the method is given. Values of the jumps of volume during melting of Pb and In up to 8 GPa, transition in the melt of Sn (these are first quantitative measurements of the jump of volume in the melt under high pressure), are presented.
