Abstract

In recent years, organisations have increasingly turned to biometric systems to address the vulnerabilities in knowledge-based identity data. And there have been many areas of innovation: beyond the use of physical biometrics such as fingerprint, face or palm, vendors have developed systems that recognise behavioural traits, and have introduced new features such as liveness detection and the associated security processing.
