Abstract
Intravenous chemotherapy and intra-arterial chemotherapy (IAC) both are the first-line treatment for retinoblastoma (RB) in clinical. There is a controversy on if intra-arterial chemotherapy can substitute the intravenous chemotherapy due to its high eye salvage rate in retinoblastoma therapy. The advantages and disadvantages of these two therapies were retrospectively reviewed here to suggest an individualized and comprehensive regimen for getting the proximal results for retinoblastoma afflicted children.
