Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing threat to companies. Learn about the seven key IOT risks to prepare before implementation of the policy of the Internet of Things. The day when virtually every electronic device – from phones and cars to refrigerators and switches – will be connected to the Internet is not far off. The number of Internet-connected devices is growing rapidly and is expected to reach 50 billion by 2020. However, the seemingly innovative and promising phenomenon is the so-called Internet of Things greatly increases the number of security risks which inevitably face businesses and consumers. Any device connected to the Internet with the help of the operating system may be at risk, and in turn, become a loophole for attackers. In this article we will discuss the proliferation of the Internet of Things and explore what enterprises can do to manage security risks associated with IoT devices.
