Abstract

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT), is a competition for teams of secondary school students, often referred to as the Physics World Cup. This year the 29th IYPT took place in Russia with a new record of 29 competing teams from around the world. In this article the main principle, regulations, and course of the tournament is presented, as well as a report of the IYPT 2016.
