Abstract

Following from Part 1 in the June issue of Project Appraisal, a case study is presented to demonstrate the method described for including environmental assessment in development planning. The conclusion for the British Airways proposed creation of a Headquarters and Business Centre at Heathrow airport is that the benefits accrued from the development out-weigh the disbenefits of the construction period.
