Abstract
With the development of technology, computer has become an indispensable means of expression in art design. CAI (computer-aided instruction) has also exerted a profound influence on the education of art design in universities. Traditional computer aided design education has been difficult to meet the training requirements of talents. The paper analyzes the status and problems of CAI, and discusses the innovative ways of it under the opportunity of the new era. It is hoped that new teaching methods will be used to cultivate talents more in line with the requirements of the times.
