Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of self-efficacy, peer conformity, parenting style, and academic procrastination on student cheating behavior. The technique used in this study is sample testing using Smart PLS, with a sample of 200 respondents from students in DKI Jakarta. Data collection using a questionnaire was calculated using Smart Partial Least Square, with Smart PLS 3.0 software. In this study found the results that have a significant effect on each variables. the effect of self-efficacy on student cheating behavior is 3.180 > 1.652 T Statistics which means that self-efficacy influences student cheating behavior. The effect of Peer Conformity on student cheating behavior 3,110 > 1,652 T Statistics indicate that Peer Conformity affects student cheating behavior. Parenting Style has an influence on student cheating behavior with a value of 2.192 > 1.652 T Statistics which indicates that Parenting Style influences student cheating behavior but with a low value. Likewise with Academic Procrastination has a big influence on student cheating behavior with a value of 4.096 > 1.652 T Statistics. The description above shows that there is a joint and significant influence between self-efficacy, peer conformity, parenting style, and academic procrastination on student cheating behaviour.
