Abstract
Abstract : This paper examines how the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty affects NATO's military strategy of flexible response. A discussion of flexible response strategy is provided as background for the reader. Then, relevant terms of the INF treaty are addressed followed by an assessment of the treaty's impact on the military strategy of the alliance.
