Abstract
VERY industrial nurse teaches health. Through a planned health education program, she hopes not only to prevent disease in the worker but also to help him attain a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being-the World Health Organization's definition of health. Through her work she also contributes to the economic and social well-being of this nation which depends, to a large extent, upon the health of its workers. Industrial nurses in cooperation with safety engineers have been so successful in recent years in teaching safe practices in the plant that losttime accidents are now rare. The
