The in-visibility of Lélia Gonzalez in Brazilian social thought: reflections from teaching and bibliographic production in the field

The purpose of the research is to analyse effective methods and tools for promoting bibliographic products by leveraging the Internet capabilities within the context of libraries, particularly by examining existing practices and innovative strategies in the online space to enhance the accessibility of bibliographic resources. Research methodology. To study this problem, general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, deduction, and induction) were used in relation to the use of marketing tools, social communications, Internet opportunities for the exchange and distribution of the resources bibliographic products in the modern library space of Ukraine. As a result of applying these methods, we have gained a deep understanding and analysis of the problems and opportunities in using marketing tools, social communications, and Internet capabilities for the exchange and dissemination of bibliographic production in modern libraries in Ukraine. The scientific novelty of the study arises from the fact that the subject of bibliographic production popularisation in Ukrainian libraries remains insufficiently developed, particularly in terms of promoting publications by means of the Internet, necessitating a comprehensive approach to studying all possibilities and identifying pathways for the development of library activity. Such a comprehensive approach will allow us to identify optimal pathways and development strategies for libraries in the digital age, which, in turn, will contribute to improving access to cultural heritage and information for the public, increasing information literacy, and supporting libraries as crucial agents of education and cultural development in society. Conclusions. The research examines the effectiveness of libraries’ promotional and informational activities in popularising bibliographic production through extensive Internet resources. Special attention is paid to primary tools for promoting bibliographic production in social media and incorporating crowdfunding instruments. Keywords: bibliographic products, advertising and information activities, library marketing, popularisation, Internet marketing, blog, book trailer, social media, SMM (Social Media Marketing), digital marketing, reputation marketing, event marketing, guerrilla marketing, crowdfunding.

OBJECTIVE: To characterize the bibliographic production of occupational therapy researchers who belong to research groups coordinated by occupational therapists affiliated with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq (Directory of Research Groups, version 4.1). The latter account for most researchers directly involved in research activities in the country. METHODOLOGY: Complete articles written by master's and/or doctoral occupational therapists, published in national or international journals until the year 2000, were considered. These articles were researched at the CV database of CNPq. Bibliographic production was characterized according to journals (indexed or not in bibliographic databases), areas of knowledge (biology, health, education, social studies) and author's institution of origin. RESULTS: A total of 169 articles written by 46 authors were identified. These articles were written from 1985 to 2000, and published in 54 journals. National production accounted for 85% of the 169 articles. Master's and doctorate courses taken by occupational therapists had an impact on the bibliographic production only in the 1990s. In occupational therapy, an emerging field, the following was observed: authors are mainly distributed in the southeast, especially in the State of Sao Paulo; publication of articles is spread over various journals; there is a limited number of authors and production is low in absolute number. It was noted that the evaluation of bibliographic production of professors according to Qualis (classification of periodicals, journals, proceedings and magazines) overestimates bibliographic production indexed in English bibliographic databases. The need to establish more collective strategies to increase bibliographic production - of books and of articles - in absolute number was observed, as well as the need to urge discussion on the subject among researchers and professors.

The article highlights the research work “Information and bibliographic activities in the modern electronic environment”, “Electronic bibliographic products in the structure of information resources of Federal and Central regional libraries” carried out by the Scientific research Department of bibliography of the Russian State Library in 2017 — the first half of 2018. The author considers a number of general theoretical and methodological issues: what are the library’s information resources; what is the place of bibliographic resources in their structure; and what is the type-specific structure of bibliographic resources of library, including electronic ones. The important part of the library’s information resources are bibliographic resources, including electronic of two main types (classes): innovative (bibliographic databases, electronic catalogues), and traditional (bibliographic catalogues-inventories, indexes, lists, reviews, etc.). The article presents the results of the comparative analysis of resources of the second type created in the Russian State Library and the National Library of Russia in 2009—2017.The websites of both libraries contain digital copies and electronic versions of printed bibliographic publications, as well as original bibliographic products (which have no printed analogues). Online bibliographic products have firmly taken their place in the structure of information resources of national libraries, somewhere supplementing them and somewhere replacing the printed format.

This study, supported by CNPq, aimed to elaborate markers for the evaluation of interactive processes work in research networks. It is grounded on the understanding that a research network is established when a group collaborates with the intention of producing knowledge. From the theory, a methodology was developed to explore the curricula of researchers employing software to build spreadsheets, count co-authorships, and analyze social networks. The researchers’ bibliographical production was examined through graphs representing their research collaboration networks and a protocol was built to evaluate them. The results identify 10 markers, qualitative and quantitative indicators for evaluating research processes on networks, which have been tested and validated in the context of application.

This article examines the ways in which International Scientific Collaboration, as observed by the co‐authorship of journal articles written by local scientists and partners located overseas, affects the ability of research teams to produce bibliographic outputs and to contribute to local knowledge. A sample of 672 teams was randomly selected for the analyses. In addition, 20 interviews with experts and team members were administered to discuss models and results. Results show that co‐authoring with partners located overseas increases team output by nearly 40% and by between three and five bibliographic products. It also shows that a team's odds of involving Colombia in its research process are 2.2 times larger for those co‐authoring with a partner located overseas than for those that do not. Theoretical and policy implications are discussed.

Starting from Pérez and Gutiérrez’s previous bibliography (2008), the total number of published monographs following the criteria of subject, decade and the combination of both was analyzed. The results showed a total of 2.036 books (1.285 original editions) with a prevalence of Japanese and Chinese martial arts. A group of eight subjects exceeded a hundred volumes (karate, judo/jujutsu, taijiquan, wu-shu/kung fu, classics, qigong, philosophy, history and education, and aikido), with two patterns of bibliographic evolution appearing. The first, represented by Japanese martial arts considered as a group and martial arts focused on the utilitarian and/or sporting performance aspects (judo/jujutsu, karate and wu-shu/kung fu), developed increasingly until the 80’s when it followed a steady-state and/or drop. The second model, which characterises the Chinese martial arts group and martial arts mainly focused on healthy and/or spiritual aspects of training (taijiquan, qigong, aikido), has increased significantly from the 90’s until the present moment. The interpretation of these patterns and the evolution of the martial arts bibliographic production in Spain highlights some aspects such as the development of the Spanish society and sports practice, bibliographic production, reading habits, or the cultural influences of eastern countries on Spain.</span></span></span></p>

Printing in Baeza, as technological point and its bibliographic production (1550-1599), catalogued, described and interpreted by Pedro M. Catedra establish an outstanding point of view over the spiritual and intellectual context determined by the Counter-reformation. In this special laboratory of XVIth century spiritual life it become to a complementary analysis of pedagogical institutions (the University of Baeza, of course), and the world of printing, in its local specifically, and its national and international connection and position through the reflection about the catalogue and the material circumstances of biacense printing. The differences and affinities of the spiritual programmes and lecture represented by Juan de Avila are outlined, also the evolution of printing in Baeza, and the conformation of a new poetic of spiritual references to a diverse and changing variety of public and the tension that new texts hold out between demand and spiritual control, orthodoxy and heterodoxy, opening and closure.

Venom is present in most spiders in the world, only two groups of venomous spiders are known and their chemical composition varies greatly between species. The vast majority have venom that is not very toxic to the human body, as is the case with crabs. However, the venom of other spiders affects humans more seriously. This manuscript aims to verify the bionomics of spiders and their therapeutic potential (Arthropoda: Araneae). Regarding the type of research source, As for the type of research source, it was worked with scientific articles published in national and international magazines. This type of production is commonly the most valued in all bibliographic production and is the easiest to access. Access to articles was through virtual libraries such as SciELO, the University of São Paulo, Latin American Literature, and the University of Brasília. This library has a specific section for Hymenoptera, with journals and article texts available in full. Considering only this section constitutes a limitation of the study since articles belonging to journals that are part of other sections of the electronic library could also contribute to the discussion of the production of knowledge. However, in principle, within these articles, there could not necessarily be a discussion focused on biology, ecology, and taxonomy.
