Abstract

In my opinion, the traditional dances begin to get corrupted when the dances are taken out of their natural medium and put on the stage which is an artificial medium. Humans have danced for birth, engagement, marriage, festival, fair, seasonal religious and national holidays and similar meetings. This means that dance has taken place in the media which are the turning points in the lives of human beings and cause to dance. The place where one dances is the place where humans show their skills, knowledge mastery. This is the place where dances are created and developed. This is the place where humans compete with each other, where they have the same feelings and excitement and where they are together in happiness and grief. Again, this is the place where the dances inherited from ancestors are learned and taught. After the dance included in the cadre of folklore w&s begun to be studied by scientific methods and technics, many folk dances were determined. The dancer is in the first plan in the place where he dances (village, town, city). Here the dancer dances for himself. There is no limit for time, the dancer dances as he wants without caring whether his dancing is liked or not, with the rythm of the music until he gets tired. He dances the dance he learned from his ancestors and environment according to his own feelings and thoughts, without being forced when he desires. He does not think about his spectators. Therefore, there is not any certain rule for the dancer and the dance. While the traditional dances are performed in this way, there is a repetition of figure in many of the dances. That is, they are monotonous. But, the regional humans watching these dances (the humans in the village, town or city where the dance is performed) never get, bored, and watch these dances without getting tired and disgusted in spite of this monotony which
