Abstract

We describe some transistorised standardised and stable circuits for rapid coincidence, lately used around Saclay's synchrotron Saturne. The resolution obtained is 4 nanosecond for a circuit comprising three ways in coincidence and one way in anticoincidence and the whole of the circuit answers without error as long as the difference between the components of a polse doublet is greater than 4 × 10−8 second.
