Abstract

Based on the example of three Russian northern regions, different ways of implementing social security are considered. It is concluded that in order to carry out a fair social policy in the northern territories, it is necessary to establish a system of social security that can meet the challenges posed by the severity of the climate and the accessibility to transportation.
