Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of smartphone LCD lighting on the learning concentration of adolescents. Recently, several studies have reported that smartphone LCD lighting decreases concentration. Fifty-eight adolescents participated in this study. Those in the group that did not used smartphones before sleeping had a higher learning concentration level the following day than those that used phones for an hour or longer. This result clarifies that there is a strong correlation between smartphone LCD lighting and learning concentration. Therefore, a systematic study is needed to evaluate the impact of smart devices’ LCD lighting on the human body.
