Abstract

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) extracts cells from the trophectoderm layer of the embryo, which ultimately forms the placenta. Whether this procedure alters the subsequent levels of maternal serum analytes is not well known. Thus, we investigated whether PGT is associated with a change in maternal serum analyte levels in singleton pregnancies conceived via in vitro fertilization (IVF).
