In the global economic system, the digital economy (DE) has shown a trend of rapid development both internationally and domestically in recent years. In the country, affected by the dividend of my country’s population base, the development of the DE is also very rapid. Through the collection and research of related literature on informatization, DE and EG, this article analyzes and studies the relevant theories of the impact of DE on EG in the information age, and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research. This article uses factor analysis to measure the DE development index in the Asia-Pacific region when calculating the DE development index in the Asia-Pacific region. The Pearson correlation test, EG two-step cointegration analysis, Granger causality analysis and other methods are used in the empirical research of the DE on the EG of the Asia-Pacific region. The research results show that the DE accounts for an increasing proportion of each country. The absolute value of the Pearson correlation coefficient between the DE development index and their EG in these 5 countries is greater than 0.80, and the P value of the residual unit root test is Both are below 0.025, and the development of the DE has a positive effect on EG.
