Abstract
Background and objectives. The primary focus of ADHD research and treatment has been on cognitive and behavioral aspects, there is growing evidence suggesting a significant relationship between ADHD and motor functional disorders. This comprehensive review examines the impact of auditory integration on motor functional disorders in children with ADHD. Materials and methods. We explore the neurological basis of auditory processing in ADHD, the relationship between auditory integration and motor function, and the potential therapeutic applications of auditory integration techniques in improving motor outcomes for children with ADHD. Conclusions. Our analysis encompasses a wide range of studies, including neuroimaging, behavioral, and intervention research, to provide a holistic understanding of this complex interplay motor function among children with ADHD, offering promising avenues for targeted interventions and improved outcomes.
