Abstract

The nuclear g-factor of the 206 keV 9 − 2 state (T 1 2 = 0.55 μs) in 187Re, has been measured using the differential angular correlation method and a magnetic field of about 3100 ± 30 G. The g-factor of this state comes out to be g = 1.04 ± 0.04. The angular correlation measurements on the 72–134 keV and 552−134 keV cascades were also performed.
