Abstract

In December 2013, a group of IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) volunteers got together in Atlanta, Georgia, for a day-and-a-half-long strategic planning retreat led by Tomy Sebastian, IAS vice president and Long-Range Planning chair. The impetus for this was the need to establish the IAS's strategic goals with an eye toward future growth and the continued support of our membership needs in a changing world.
