Abstract
Experiential learning and an open, enquiring mind are as integral to the profession of architecture as they are to a child's development. Watching his daughter in her early years, Alex Scott‐Whitby has noticed parallels with the evolution of his practice. Founded in the year she was born, his London architecture and urban design consultancy ScottWhitbyStudio has gone through similar phases: from the seed of an idea, to finding its feet, to seeking guidance from its forebears, to pushing boundaries.
