Abstract
Abstract The present study is intended to be an argument answer to a number of questions connected with the structure of the North Atlantic Alliance, about how it has evolved since its formation in 1949 to date, especially on its eastern flank where the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is in full progress. What is the link between the North Atlantic Alliance and this conflict, whether it has implications for the Alliance’s expansion policy, whether there are changes in the rules for addressing new challenges, and especially how it intends to respond to pressures the Russian Federation, are the research directions we have followed.
