Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming various medical fields, including neurosurgery. This review explores the evolving role of AI in neurosurgical planning and outcome prediction, with a focus on its applications in preoperative imaging, intraoperative navigation, and postoperative outcome forecasting. A meta-analysis of recent studies shows that AI enhances precision, reduces errors, and offers personalized patient care. However, significant challenges such as interpretability and integration into clinical practice remain. This article discussescurrent developments, limitations, and future innovations in the use of AI in neurosurgery.
