Abstract

(M,M′)TiO3:Pr3+ (M, M′: Ca2+, Zn2+, Sr2+) phosphors were prepared by a solid-state reaction method, and the luminescent properties were investigated. The PLE and PL spectra of Ca1-xSrxTiO3:Pr3+ powders exhibited the strong dependence on the Sr content, resulting in the maximum emission intensity at x = 0.1. The PLE spectra of (Ca0.5Sr0.5-yZny)TiO3:Pr3+ showed wide excitation bands with increasing Zn content. The red emission intensity of (Ca0.5Sr0.35Zn0.15)TiO3:Pr3+ was higher than that of the pure CaTiO3:Pr3+.
