Abstract

Results for thermodynamic functions of a low-density quantum Coulomb system in a uniform magnetic field are reviewed. We start with a fugacity expansion of the Helmholtz free energy. Results for the leading terms with respect to the fugacity are considered. A new magnetic virial function is presented which is exact in quadratic order with respect to the magnetic field. Possible applications are discussed.
