Abstract

This article critically analyses the future impact of Environmental Liability Directive in the UK and the issues covering implementation of the Directive in the UK. The article discusses the problems created by the Directive and provides recommendations on how it should be transposed in the UK. It also considers whether insurance can cover the increased risks imposed on UK operators by the Directive.
