Abstract

The electric quadrupole interaction frequencyν Q =eQV zz /h of177Lu in single crystals of Zn and In has been measured by the method of low temperature nuclear orientation. The results are $$\begin{gathered} v_Q ({}^{177}Lu\underline {Zn} ) = - 180(5)MHz \hfill \\ v_Q ({}^{177}Lu\underline {In} ) = - 19(5)MHz. \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$
