Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the self-efficacy and ego-resilience of school nutritionists on their organizational immersion. For the study, a survey was conducted on 119 nutritionists in elementary, middle and high schools in two cities, K and U, from 15th to 30th of April, 2019. The measuring scales of self-efficacy, ego-resilience, and organizational immersion were used as research tools and SPSS 21.0 program for data processing. The results of the study were as follows: First, the perceived self-efficacy, ego-resilience, and organizational immersion of school nutritionists have significant correlations. Second, the perceived self-efficacy and ego-resilience of school nutritionists significantly affects their organizational immersion. This research is significant in that it suggests possible political measures for professional nutritionists who work in schools, to support their promotion of healthy school life of students by verifying the effects of self-efficacy and ego-resilience of nutritionists on enhancement of their organizational immersion.
