Abstract

ABSTRACT From the results of horizontal-branch model computations in which the nitrogen abundance was varied from 0.1 to 10 times normal we conclude, following the suggestion of Hartwick and McClure, that a nitrogen overabundance of 10 times normal can explain the anomalous red horizontal branch in the globular cluster NGC 7006. Key words: stellar evolution - horizontal-branch medels - CNO abundance
