Abstract

The research aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the inverse learning strategy to cognitive achievement and skill performance in the preparation of some school shoe models for children in the middle stage (6-9) years. The sample of the study consisted of all the students of the 3rd Division, the Department of Leather Industries at the Faculty of Home Economics - Helwan University, numbering (10) students, and because of the small numbers of students of the division was not divided into two experimental and controlled groups, but the reverse learning strategy was applied to the entire division. Educational videos have been developed using the inverse learning strategy to prepare some school shoe models for middle-aged children and upload them to a YouTube channel and measure the effectiveness of using the inverse learning strategy through educational videos on cognitive achievement and student performance. The results of the research resulted in: statistically significant differences at the level of indication (0.01) for the test (achievement) in favor of the after-test, as well as the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of indication (0.01) for the performance of skills in the skills of preparing the school boot model for the middle school in favor of the aftertesttest, which indicates and confirms the effectiveness of the use of the inverse learning strategy through educational videos in learning the knowledge and skills of preparing the school boot model for the middle childhood.
