Abstract

The results of studying homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic systems for alkene arylation (the Heck reaction) illustrate the influence of the main catalytic cycle on the efficiency of the formation and regeneration of catalytically active species. When both homogeneous and heterogeneous precursors are used, the formation process becomes possible or is intensified only in the presence of the catalytic reaction.
