Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of systematized entire journey nursing intervention on the survival quality of esophagus cancer surgery patients. Methods 106 esophageal cancer patients in thoracic surgery department of our hospital were divided into control (52 cases) and intervention groups (54 cases) . Control group was taken conventional treatment and care. On the basis of the conventional treatment and care, intervention group was adopted the whole method of nursing intervention such as strengthening psychological guidance and improving the health education, strengthening nutrition guidance, post-discharge follow-up, ect. The levels of anxiety and depression, quality of life were observed. Results The levels of anxiety and depression, the quality of life scores in two groups were significantly different (P < 0.01, P < 0.05 ) . Conclusions The methods of psychological guidance including health education, nutrition guidance,post - discharge follow - up care, diversification and predictability of care from the psychological, social, and disease can reduced patients 'negative state of mind, improve the patients'quality of life, promote the patients'recovery.
