Abstract

Capons were reared to 96 days of age on two series of diets containing high and low levels of protein, and under various lighting regimes to study performance and the incidence of breast blisters and crooked breast bones. Dietary protein and lighting treatment had no effect on performance nor any of the carcass quality parameters measured.
