Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the combination of treatment with egg shell waste and Arbuscular Mycorrhyza Fungi (AMF) to increase the growth of F. moluccana in subsoil media. The experiment was designed using a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 treatments, namely the provision of egg shell waste and the addition of AMF which were divided into 16 combinations with 5 replications. The growth variables observed were height, diameter, total chlorophyll content as indicated by leaf greenness index, biomass, shoot root ratio and seed quality index. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of this study showed that the combination of egg shell waste treatment with AMF was able to increase the growth of F. moluccana in subsoil media. The addition of 30 grams of egg shell waste with 10 grams of AMF in subsoil media showed the best F. moluccana growth compared to other applications such as the addition of egg shell waste or just addition of AMF.
