Abstract

This article examines the reminiscences of the 1st century legend on Simon Magus in Georgii monachi Chronicon and Pov?sti vremennykh l?t. The origin of this tale is in the apocryphal Acts of Peter and Simon and in the ancient philosophical roman, known under the title of “Pseudo-Clementines”.
