Abstract

The pattern of infestation by glochidia of the Swan mussel, Anodonta cygnea, on a population of the Three‐spined stickleback, Gasterosteus aculeatus was studied over a period of 12 months. The results obtained are considered under the four headings of incidence, intensity, the effect of fish size and the toDoeraDhical distribution of oarasites on the host.
