Abstract
Abstract About half of the pyridine insolubles in heat-treated acenaphthylene pitch was dissolved into hydrogenated pitch. Observation with optical and scanning electron microscopes showed that the components dissolved consisted of small mesophase spherules with an optically isotropic texture.
