Abstract
1. By statistical design of experiments we constructed a mathematical model of the process of zinc flotation in the form of a linear regression equation. 2. We found the optimum conditions for zinc flotation. 3. We compared three optimality criteria (extraction, selectivity index, and economic criterion). 4. The coefficients of the regression equations were analyzed from the viewpoint of the main flotation factors and the mechanisms of the individual factors and their interactions.
